White Coat Welcome: First-year medical students Daniel Liu, Guy Bizek, Terri McMillan and Amy Sheldahl exchange handshakes and hellos following the annual White Coat Ceremony held on August 16, 2002, at the Eric P. Newman Education Center. The yearly event, during which members of the incoming medical school class don their symbolic white “doctor” coats and together take an oath of professionalism, caps a week of orientation activities.
