Faculty and staff from the Genome Sequencing Center visited McKinley in April to talk with students about National DNA Day. Celebrated on April 25, DNA Day was created in 2003 to commemorate the completion of the Human Genome Project and the 50th anniversary of the discovery of DNA’s double-helical structure.
