Advancing Medicine 2019

From the office of the dean: A look back on some of the outstanding contributions in health and medicine over the past year

“Washington University School of Medicine had a truly exceptional year in 2019. We welcomed Andrew D. Martin as the university’s new chancellor; we advanced our academic mission with an ambitious new scholarship initiative and the newly formed Academy of Educators; and further expanded our amazing research and clinical care enterprise with the creation of a new Division of Physician-Scientists. Here is a look back on some of the outstanding contributions in health and medicine over the past year.

“I welcome the challenges and opportunities of the new year and wish you all the best in 2020.”
